for me using xp sp1

would recommend finding and installing free trial version
of geek superhero first. then d/l and install free spybot
search and destroy and follow that up with install of
spyware blaster (also free and works with spybot like a
knockout one - two combination)

I've tried Spybot, Ad Aware, CW Shredder and Spy Sweeper and it keeps coming
back. This thing was started from some site in Russia, or so the searching
that I have sone says. This thing gets in through MS Virtual Machine. If
you download and run CW Shredder (
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html ) and run it, it tells you
how to fix it...by removing MSVM. How about MS just fixes the problem that
is allowing cws to get into our systems in the first place

I have come across a couple of items like that. Hijackthis seems to be able
to kill them dead enough for other tools to finish the job.
