Hi there, I know Aero is enabled on my PC, as the transparency i
enabled and the glass feature. I'm running Vista Home Premium 32bit wit
2.4Ghz dual core processor and 9600GT card, with 2Gigs of RAM, I kno
that my PC can run Aero easily, but I just don't know why the minimizin
/ opening animations aren't working. Doesn't matter which program I use
Firefox, windows itself (folders etc) the animations just don't happen
and the windows show immediately without any fade.

Can anyone help me with this

Thanks in advance

Jac

Hello,

Please try this:

- Click start
- Right-click computer (in the black area)
- Click properties
- In the left of the window that appears, click advanced system settings
- Click the Settings button inside the box for performance
- Make sure there is a checkmark next to 'animate windows when minimizing
and maximizing'

- JB

Did you do a restart or a log off and log back in? Although its not
necessary, sometimes it helps.

It's not a huge thing, but it should be working on Aero, and since it
doesn't seem to be a common thing there must be something wrong
