After full Norton 360 Scan, reboots and stops on a blank screen

After running a full Norton 360 Scan it has found 2 risks and fixed them.
Then it asks for rebooting the computer. After reboot it stops at a blank
screen. If I press CTRL+ALT+DEL I can see Vista Menu and select "Task
Manager". In the Task Manager's menu I can choose "Run" and type "explorer".
Then it opens Vista's initial screen and I can start using normally. It seems
everything goes well with the reboot, and just the screen is not displayed.
I can use Vista normally after typing "explorer", and if I restart the
computer, the problem happens over and over.

Norton strikes again. Go and check and see what did Norton remove. It probably removed a line that is needed. Get rid of that awful Norton(Symantec) product

I will do it later

But do you have any idea about what possibly happened?
Or... how do I get this info about what Norton has removed?

Thanks

Did you set the options in Norton to send these bad files it finds to quarantine or did you set it to remove/delete. Check the quarantine folder if in there by any chance

Get rid of 360. I blasted it in my blog. Turned my fiancé's XP machine into
a total pig. Here's something else to read...

http://www.computerworld.com/comments/node/9030667

I'm currently running Norton Internet Security, which isn't too bad overall.
It shipped on my system, so I'm giving it a shot. Kaspersky isn't too bad
either.

I heard bad things about Norton so I deleted it from my ThinkPad as soon as
I got it. I a running Windows Live One Care and it seems to be doing a very
good job.

As long as you aren't using 360 you're good. As with anything, there are
good products out there. NIS is fast on my system. Kaspersky was fast on my
fiancé's XP machine. As was Charter's Security Suite(F-Prot based). I didn't
like the interface on the F-Prot however, and killed it. Again, I'll
re-iterate what I always say. Use what works best for YOU.
