After installation of XP SP2 USB Storage Devices not recognized

After install of SP2 all my external USB Storage Devices (Sony Camera, Sony
Memory Stick, USB Memory Stick) show as being installed and working but does
not show in "My Computer" or Window Explorer. When I go to Computermanagement
> Datastorage > Devicemanagement I see the Devices without Volume-Number.
After attaching manually the volume-number I can work with the device but it
is still not added to Windows-Explorer. Any Idea how to solve this problem?
All proposals like re-installation of drivers and devices have been done
withot success.

Ubelievable, after having attached the volume number for the mass-storage
device, which was shown as active, manually, I can see the whole volume-tree
with Ulead Photo Explorer, see all data on the volume and can work with it.
So the USB-driver must be ok. But the device is not listed in the Microsoft
Explorer Tree and cannot be accessed from there. Has anybody an idea?
