After installing activesync 4.0, uninstalling it and installing 3.

After installing activesync 4.0, uninstalling it and installing 3.8 I cannot
get the sync to work. It installs alright, reboots and the icon doesn't show
in the taskbar. When i dock the pocketpc in it's cradle windows finds the
device but activesync will not start.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
This is a known issue with going back from ActiveSync 4.0. I haven't had
time to figure out what to do to install ActiveSync 3.8.

It may be as simple as going into the registry and deleting the references
to ActiveSync. Of course modifying the registry is not supported.
