After installing SP2 ...

After hours of trying to get SP2 to install is how I should start this ...

I finally was successful with some help I read from these groups, and
everything seemed to go fine. A security check came up asking me about
automatic updates, then it told me that Norton Antivirus was protecting my
computer ... and then I got some security overview page. Then nothing.
Couldn't load anything, couldn't CTRL-Alt-Del, couldn't shut down. Not that I
expected anything else.

I was wondering if this had been experience by anyone else and if there was
a workaround. I'm suspecting that it might be something in my startup.
