It doesn't happen every time. Mostly when I have more than one IE window
open. I'm sorry but I don't have the error number.

Did you install update 918899? I was having same problems, ie crashing
as soon as i loaded this update on my win2k sp4 machine last week.
Found this link and contacted ms and got the hot fix. Luckily i had
not deployed this update system wide yet.

XP Home SP1. (I know I should upgrade)

What ever updates that were released last week.
I'm not sure if these are the ones:
KB920670
KB920683
KB921398
KB921883
KB922616

Indeed. After you've upgraded to Windows XP SP2, the problem will be
gone. If you still want to wait until October 2006 when the support
vor Windows XP SP1 will be stopped, you may want to follow
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923762/en-us (in case you've installed
KB918899 (MS06-042) too).

Bye,
Freudi

I do have that installed. As to what sites, it seems random. Sometimes it
will be something that I click on a website. I'll try to make a note exactly
what I'm doing when it happens.
