After minimised, 8.1.0178.00 doesn't restore. Stay in taskbar!!

SERIOUS Bug report for Windows Live Messenger 8.1.0178.00. When minimised,
the conversation windows or the main window of msn WILL NOT OPEN if another
window (e.g. Internet Explorer 6) is open.
Steps:
1) Log on to MSN 8.1
2) Open 1 or more IE version 6 windows (tried also with Word 2000)
3) Open 1 or more 8.1 msn conversations
4) Minimise the msn window(s)
5) Attempt to get the msn conversations back on screen (from the task bar).
BUG: The msn conversations flash but DO NOT GET RESTORED!! I have to resort
to ALT-TAB to get back on those windows!
I think this is a very serious bug. Let me know if you require further info.

i have had it but am not sure if it's related to live messenger. i'd say,
rather windows live mail or some other process.
