After SP2 update - Javascript problem

I've recently noticed that I can't open javascript url's that use
[ShowPopup]. At first I thought that this was to do with the firewall but
I've checked all of the settings. Whilst looking for help on this website I
found a document that suggests that there is a conflict with the latest
security update and javascript. MS suggests contacting Sun Microsystems to
request a fix for this problem. But I wouldn't have a clue who to contact. A
friend has suggested uninstalling the update - but I guess it's important to
have it and I always install the recommended Windows Updates. What should I
do?

After I installed SP2 and Norton system works pro 2005 my javascript stopped
working, i searched the MSFT newgroup and found something, which fixed my
problem, which appeared to be conflict between norton and SP2. Go
start>run>regsvr32 jscript.dll
and sperately do start>run>regsvr32 vbscript.dll
