After trying all kinds of posted solutions I still get 0x80070005

After trying all kinds of posted solutions I still get 0x80070005

I checked that updates service and BITS service are running. There are no
event messages related to these services that I can see.

The account I'm logged in with is a member of the administrators group, but
logging in as the administrator does not help. Even is safe mode.

The file security settings for the Administrators group for the folder
'SoftwareDistribution' it's subfolders and files are set to full control.
Double checked to make sure the security settings for the folder DataStore
are set to full control.

The contents of the folder for the DataStore where deleted to make sure
nothing was possibly corrupted there.

I also made sure that security permissions in the registry where set.

I am able to scan for updates and get a list of needed updates back. When
WU attempts to download the files for each update it quicky reports failed.

Here is the last few lines of the WU log (I appreciate any help... Thanks):
