After Udates internet is very slow!

My once fast High Speed Internet is now slower than dial-up after installing
the Udates listed below. I uninstalled the updates one at time to see which
one was causing the problem. I uninstalled all of them and it didn't help. I
tried System Restore and wasn't able to restore to prior installation.

Sometimes I think its better not Update, than to sacrifice my computers
performance.

Window Installer 3.1
KB890859
KB890923
KB893066
KB893086

Any help would be appreciated?

This has happened to me a couple times albeit I can't recall if it was after
a Windows update. I use DSL, called my ISP who had me reset my modem (unplug
for 10 seconds) then they did their thing and I was back in business.

I use DSL also. I tried what you suggested and now its working fine. Thanks
