After uninstalling Norton, wireless internet doesn't work?

Well i was on my laptop and i wanted to install Mcafee it told me i need
to uninstall Norton so i did and i restarted my laptop and my internet
wouldn't work. So right now i'm on the home computer. Please Help.

Do a wired connection for your laptop; Ethernet Cat5 cable will do.

Download the correct Norton removal tool t remove remains from website
above: 360, 2008, 2007?????
Then post back with error messages, if any!
