After update msxml3.dll unreg- what worked for me

After the Auto Update mid-August, I found that business software no longer
would open and file msxml3.dll had become "unregistered." Many hours and
attempts later I found help at this site below. Now I'm back up (and I've
turned OFF Auto Updates).

The issue is not related to Auto Updates, rather, it's related to the
installed security software [Antivirus program, for one].
AU isn't perfect, but please give 'credit' to 3rd party software for
this issue .
