after updates settings etc are changed

afterauto updates etc I go to browse to websites etc that I have gone to for
years and now won"t load or pictures won't show etc. trying to find answers
to the questions so I can reset things so I can see them is impossible, I
have been trying for about 8 or 10 years and have yet been able to find
anything that is relevent to the questions asked. what am I doing wrong or is
this site only for the computer experts or what?

First, you need to tell everyone what apps you are dealing with, what
Windows OS, SP level, how old is your system, what versions of software
(e.g., Internet Explorer 5, 6 or 7), ....

We can only help with what is given to us.
