Hello,

We have a file server, based on Linux with samba. The user management
based on Active Directory.
After the installation of the SP1, its not possible to add users/groups
to the acls of files saved on the file server.
I got the error message like this:

"The needed dialog can't be open, because it was not possible to detect
the domain membership of the server 'filserver'. "

And after that a message like this: "The dialog for selecting users
can't be displayed. Its only for installed features available"

Has anyone an idea? Before I have installed SP1 it works fine.

Many thanks!

BJörn

What version of Samba are you using? You'd need v3.2.4 or later. You might
as well update to v3.3.1.

Hello!

We are running version 3.0.24. Is there other options than upgrading samba?

B.
