Age of Empire 3 Multiplayer

Hi,

Since installing windows vista I have been having issues joining
most online games in Age of Empires 3: The warchiefs. about 80% of the games
i try to join, i get the following message "Failed to join game"

I know this is a vista issue, as i have the game working on xp just fine. I
have read and done everything microsofts website and on age
community website and forums, checked all the ports, and i am certain its
vista.

Are you guys at microsoft aware of this?

yeah, i got the same problem . hav no solution found yet

Same problem to me. In the same network Age of Empires works fine on an
XP computer, but frequently gives the message "failed to join game" on a
Vista computer.

If you google on "failed to join game" it seems to be a well-known
problem for (new) Vista users, which problem has not been solved yet.

If you visit the Microsoft AoE- or the ESO-site, it seems as if this
problem does not exist.

So the questions are:
- Is this problem known to Microsoft and/or ESO?
- are they working on it?
- when may we expect a solution?

An answer of Microsoft or ESO is very appreciated; the solution even
more
