Age of Empires 2, the conquerors expansion stop to work randomly

Hello,

I have on my Vista Ultimate the Age of Empires 2, Age of Kings: The
Conqueror Expansion, updated at patch c. When I play, it always stop to work
randomly: sometimes it stop after 10 minutes, sometimes after 5, sometimes
after 30. When it stop, the message is that the application with the *.icd
extension crashed.

Someone have ha the same problem? I tried until this time only on custom
random maps (not that included in the game), and only one time I ended the
game without problems.

Hope someone can give me a suggestion.

Perhaps a dirty CD disk or light scratches on the disk. Try cleaning the
disk with a soft damp cloth.
