age of the empires III

Hi, im a big fan of the age of the empires games and i noticed that the 'war
chiefs' expansion pack works on vista. Does the actual age of the the empires
III work on vista?

If the expansion pack works on Vista and the expansion pack only works with
AOE, then of course AOE III works on Vista!

That is exactly what i thought, but i have noticed many posts with error
messages on vista for AOE III
