Agere Systems - Modems - Agere Systems PCI Soft Modem download

Hi there

the above download wont install. wonder why??

I'm having the same problem . Do you have any idea how to get rid of the
update just popping up? I've got that stupid litle yellow shield with an
exclamation point constantly on the task bar.

Having same problem, looks like Microsoft would react

thank goodness I am not going crazy and it is happening to others too..I have
restarted my system about 5 times hoping it would go away and it won't... I
hope they fix it soon..

Me too! I think we may have a common link or I'm just guessing that it may
not be neccessary with a cable high speed modem? Just guessing.

I don't know about any of you, but that yello shield vanished... probably
knew we were on to it.. haha... good luck everyone
