there are 3 different places when we can configure Aging/Scavenging:

1) Right click ServerName (to enable for the whole server?)
2) Aging button on the Zone (to enable for the specified zone)

and

3) properties of ServerName, Advanced Tab (???)

In wich circunstance the option 3) will be used?

It is the same thing as Option 1. It;s for the whole server, meaning, all zones.
