Album info in Japanese

I am fairly experienced at ripping cds, but now encounter an occasional album
where all the info appears in japanese (title, tracks, etc.) - yet the music
plays in english. It even happened with the same artist and a 2 disc album -
where disc 1 appeared in japanese and disc 2 appeared in english. I am not
changing any settings. What is going on?

That's likely the available metadata. Does it show up that way on a
second machine? If it does: click Update Album Info to fix the metadata
up. If it doesn't, your first/broken machine has a weird locale set.
Verifying your system locale, your chosen music service within WMP, and
resetting the IE cookies should likely fix this up.
