How to Align Desktop items in VISTA???

Hey can anyone tell me how to align VISTA Desktop items to Top.
i.e. from left to Right.. (not top to bottom.)

I only have one desktop icon, and I had to drag it to the bottom.

Hi,

There is no built-in functionality for that, you'd have to do it manually.
You can use 'align to grid' to make them even, but there's nothing that will
force them into horizontal positions (vs vertical).

By the time you download some third party software that may or may not work,
it's easier to drag and drop the files by hand. You should only have to do
it once.

As soon as you change resolution or if Vista burps the desktop icons
will all revert back to the sort sequence the idiots of Redmond think
best totally ignoring whatever order you the user wanted or took time
to set up.

What morons like Yanaire know about Windows you could write on the
head of a pin.
