Hello,

We just built a new W2K8 R2 single domain forest right out of the box being
at W2K8 R2 forest/domain level from the get go which I thought means the
SYSVOL will use DFRS, not FRS to replicate.

All 5 of our DCs fail this DCDiag test:

dcdiag /e /test:verifyreferences

Testing server: SiteA\PrimaryServerOne
Starting test: VerifyReferences
Some objects relating to the DC PRIMARYSERVERONE have problems:
[1] Problem: Missing Expected Value
Base Object: CN=PRIMARYSERVERONE,OU=Main,OU=Domain
Controllers,DC=BIGOrganization,DC=ds
Base Object Description: "DC Account Object"
Value Object Attribute Name: frsComputerReferenceBL
Value Object Description: "SYSVOL FRS Member Object"

All of our 5 Windows Server 2008 R2 domain controllers are having this
problem.

How can we solve this. Thank you in advance for all useful input/ideas.

~ Matt

I have the same problem on a Windows 2008 R2 domain not Subnets or other sites involved jsut 2 dcs in a single domain and DC1 is reporting this after dcdiag. DC2 is clean. Would LOVE to know how to get around it.
I could cheat and swap the FSMO roles over to DC2 then Demote dc1 and re-promote under a different name, but if I do this it may not replicate the demotion of DC1 to DC2.

Please help someone !!!!
