I can't double-check here, because I'm not by a Vista machine now (I'm
in the process of rebuilding mine, with an AMD Phenom x4 CPU), but the
procedure in Windows XP is as follows:
- Right-click the desktop
- Click the "Arrange Icons By" menu item, to open another pop-up
menu.
- Click "Show Desktop Icons" to add a checkI'll report back to you with the correct procedures in Vista, but that
will only be in a couple of hours when I'm done (This is a monster of a
machine I'm building, and I keep getting interrupted!)

-U--nfortunately, my rig (As seen in

went south thanks to mother nature and a lightning bolt to the mains
supply that my UPS could not stop. Now I'm just waiting for the
insurance payout, so I can build a new machine.-'
