Are all games in Mahjong Titans solvable?

Hello!

I occasionally encounter a situation when all tiles except two are
removed, and these tiles are arranged one below the other. Of course,
this does not necessarily mean that such a game is unsolvable, although
it might be very hard to win at first go.

Is there any statement from Microsoft that all games in Mahjong Titans
are solvable?

As with all Mahjong type games, you play to conclusion. Sometimes the
conclusion is that the game can't be won. Start over!

There are obviously several conclusions for each game as you can lose
winnable games. <http://home.halden.net/vkp/vkp/layouts.html> mentions
four "schools" of layout creation. My question basically is which
school the Vista programmers followed.

When 2 like tiles are on top of one another at the end of the game, it is
obvious which conclusion is used. I have seen this a few times. Play again.
It's only a game.

I am new to Mahjong Titans and found this forum and your
question/comments when I went hunting for the rules. I think all the
games are winnable. I've won four so far, different board layouts. I
think I finally figured out that I have to remove the tiles that are
stacked first. When you watch the bottom of the board, you'll notice
that when you remove a match on top of stacked tiles, it either
increases the number of matches available or stays the same. So, you're
reducing the number of tiles on the board and have enough matches
available to clear the board. I hope this make sense. I haven't mastered
this game by any means. I am learning through trial and error since I
can't find any rules but I will keep trying.

I developed a mahjong game where I used the method C) from the website home.halden.net/vkp/vkp/layouts.html to build my layouts. Hence I'm sure that there is always at least a solution.

My advice for Mahjong player is this one: never remove a tile if 3 identical ones are visible. The fourth should block you so be patient and find other tiles to associate!

Ooops, my free and beautiful Mahjong game is named In-Poculis Mahjong and is available at in-poculis.com
