All my critical updates show 0kb in size

After running a windows update on a XP media center machine, It tells me that
10 critical updates can't be installed. When I tried to install them
individually, each one says that the size of the download is 0kb.

its because you are typing with the wrong hand. For some reason , this
is what i am always told, Windows only works on the most perfect
computer. You must not install anything but WindowsXP, and You MUST
install updates one at a time....contrary to what windows says... you
must disable auto updates...i did an auto update and my screen
resolution changed... one at a time and i had no problem. I use mozilla
just to spite IE6
