How do I get the flyout menu for my Programs on the Start button that I'm
accustomed to in XP? I can't see how MS thinks that the current scrolling
All Programs thing is useful at all.

I can't even find Outlook Express, or Windows Mail or whatever it's called.

BLECH!

You'll find the option in the taskbar properties. Right click anywhere on
the taskbar and select properties then go to the Start Menu tab. Change the
option from Start Menu to Classic Start Menu.

To find something quickly in the new style start menu just click the start
button then tyoe a few letter of what you want to find. I find this search
very useful but I am with you I don't like the scrolling start menu then
again I didn't like the XP start menu when I upgraded from 2000 but I soon
got used to it and now I prefer it to 2000.
