All programs .lnk - nothing works

I just recently tried to open "my computer", however it wouldn't open
Trying to get it to open, I right click on it and press "show o
desktop". This put a file onto the desktop that i didn't want so
deleted it. This is where everything went wrong. All the start men
icons disappeared, then a bit later all files on my computer changed t
.lnk files except the folders. If i go to the properties of a folder, i
says there is no files in it. Also I cant access any folders includin
my computer, it's as if every file has been deleted... I cant acces
anything, not even control panel. Also I cant extract anything because
cant access containing folder
Does anyone know how to fix this problem

Dont worry. All fixed. I just restarted the computer... and its fixed
