All programs "Not Responding"

Hi,

I have a new Dell Latitude 830 laptop (4gb RAM, 120Gb HD) preinstalled with
Vista Ultimate. I got the laptop and basically immediately starting
installing SW on it (Office 2007, Acrobat 8, others) before I really used it
a lot, so I'm not sure if this problem was out of the box or not.
But basically any program I click on (IE, Office 2007, etc) launches, but
goes into "Not Responding" mode for 20-30 seconds, then goes back to running
normally. Even if I have Word open and running, and open a new document, it
does the "not responding" think there as well. Everything seems to work, but
it is very annoying. Anyone seen this, and have any advice for me?

Thanks,

Mike

Best way to find that out is to use your recovery disc (or partition)
to restore your computer to the same condition it was in when you took
it out of the box.

Work with it for a while, then slowly install each program, allowing
time to see how things are going.

What the hell is this idiot babbling about now? Oh, first this clown
snips what he's ****ed off about, then like all ****wits he claims he
bitch slapped the guy, yet is so stupid we don't know what was said by
either party.

Way to go stud. You showed him!

Please, for God's sake, change your name to something more accurate
that describes your mental capacity like:

the IDIOT
the MORON
the JACKASS
the ASSHOLE
the RETARD
the FOOL

Any of the above fits you.

Get the idea?

Report back once you pick one. We'll know it you, because you're
stupid enough to use the same newsreader and give yourself away again
dumbass. LOL!

Or If You Want To Be The Lowest Of The Low With The Least Amount Of Mental
Capacity, Change Your Name To:

Ringmaster
Adam Albright
Executioner

Any Of The Above Will Prove That You Have No Brain At All. Just FYI

Hey dumbass, put a blank line between your stupid response so PEOPLE can see
it better. Just FYI.

Now go play with Alias and Adam Albright. They need someone as stupid as
you to make them look better. Just FYI

If I had a dollar for every time I've seen "Not Responding" since I got a
Vista system, I could probably buy out Bill Gates. I've gotten it from
every last piece of software I own, including Vista's own features. If
someone has a solution, I sure hope they post it.
