All Toolbars in Internet Explorer have disappeared

Not the Explorer (file manager), but IE; it's blank at the top and properties
only shows me the home page properties. I thought it would "remember" the
settings from Explorer, but doesn't. I can't see favorites, folders, or any
settings at the top.
