I'm currently dealing with 4 hijacked home computers. One of the bigger
problems presented is that all of the security updates are corrupted,
becoming immediately read only immediately upon installation. I have tried
changing the attribute back, but no dice. Can I choose nother download
location? I can't find an option for moving the download folder.
Thanks

You *really* need to get the systems cleaned up first and then deal with
updating the systems afterwards.

Where should you start ? :

or
http://www.aumha.org/a/parasite.htm

If you're still having difficulty getting the malware removed, suggest
posting to one of these reputable forums * after first reading the
guidelines * of the one you choose :

Updates can't be downloaded from the Microsoft Download Center
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/S...displaylang=en
after the systems have been cleaned if there is still an issue obtaining
them.. Click the Windows Security & Updates link in the left frame.
