Dear all
Hi. The windows shortcut alt F4 in vista ultimate closes application
but does not bring forth the shutdown dialog box. Any clues? IT seem
that it could be linked with the installation/uninstall of the them
vista osx (along with restart and hibernate not present in the star
menu shutdown options)
Txs for any help

Try Ctrl + Q, the real standard.

Erm, CTRL + Q has never been the standard for anything.

It's CTRL + W for Exit/Quit, that the Macintosh introduced as part of a
OS-wide standard, which was later adopted in Windows.

ALT + F4 was kept for Close as it was already popular in a lot of DOS apps,
due to it being the Exit key in Wordperfect (may have been Wordstar).
