Alt+tab application list order

In WinXP when I press Alt+Tab the list of applications was in order of
use. With Vista Business x64 this is not always the case, the order
presented is more like a group. Example I have five FireFox windows
open, three Windows Explorer, two MS word, two excel, 5 Outlook. The
various windows have been opened in a random order. I press alt tab and
the various applications are grouped so I see something link five FF,
followed by 3 WE, followed by 2 word, followed by 2 excel, followed by 5
OL. If I select any of the applications and then again press alt+tab the
applications appear grouped again. How can I get the window to display
the order as it did in XP?

Hi,

Just a guess, but in the taskbar properties is the option to group similar
buttons enabled? If so, this is why they show as grouped in the alt-tab
view.
