That was the situation last month, now they are making it free for
home users 1-10 PCs read the newsletter on the link a bit deeper. Its
not too obvious where to find the right software but the info is
there.
The normal service is expensive but there is a service with
Antispyware included (which can be disabled) for home / small business
users with 1 to 10 PCs, which will run on a stand alone machine, no
agents, or server required and is free for 12 months.
Getting WGA out totally including the Notify Tray spyware does not
involve re-installing windows, its not that difficult, google it. Even
MSFT themselves have provided a KB article on how to do it.
