Alternate Location

My server system partitions are getting a little full from all the security
update backups. Is there a way to specify an alternate default location such
as another volume (other than drive C: ) when doing a Windows update? Also,
can the current backup folders on my system be moved without causing
problems? Thanks.

No.

Yes, all $NtUninstall... folders (and the $NtServicePackUninstall$
folder if you have one) can safely be moved to another location.

If you later on decide to uninstall an update, just put back the
uninstall folder for that specific update.
