Always appearing offline, even when set to Online

Since Friday night, it seems that I'm appearing offline to my contacts, no
matter what I have my status set to. WLM will also occasionally re-send me
messages I've previously received while talking to someone, only this time
it will say that I received those messages while I was offline.

If I sign in with Windows Messenger, everything works normally. I've tried
re-installing WLM with the latest version.

I'd be thankful for any help.

I have the same problem I appear offline to all my contacts no matter what my
status is set to. The problem is only occurring on one of my accounts, the
others all work fine. I have tried using another pc but that made no
difference. The other accounts are Hotmail but the one with the problem is
Yahoo. It's very annoying and has been driving me mad. Help!

I have the same problem, so you are not alone.

Its funny because I do get signed in but only for a breif moment and then I
get signed off yet the client doesn't get any information that I was signed
off and still thinks I am online.

Yes, exactly same problem...
I tried everything. As a result, returned back to MSN 7.5. Now everybody
sees me.
