Windows automatically installed my DVD RW Supermulti w/o drivers and it
burns CD-Rs and DVD-Rs w/o hassle. What you are missing is all the great
software that runs with Windows. Instead, you have to put up with 1/2 baked
alpha quality apps, library incompatibilies,
innumerable/diverse/inconsistent config files, the dismal game selection and
the thirty three or so different email clients that you get with a typical
Linux distribution.

I've yet to see a win OS that let yuou plug in new hardware and just let
you use it.
As far as 33 or so... that is just choice as to which you want to fit
your needs. Not what is crammed down your throat.
Subscription is coming.

To compare.
Windows is a person with a job.
Linux is a homeless guy on the interstate.
Both are human, but only one is socially accepted.

Get It?

To compare:

Typical fanboy is computer illiterate, needs intensive hand holding
just to be able to read email or surf the web on a Windows box. Is
insanely jealous of anyone that can install any flavor of Linux while
he can't figure out how to add a printer.

Got it. Thanks for sharing.

Is linux like a quark?
It exist, but is undetectable...so it does something, but nobody knows what
