i am trying to update windows xp to windows xp service pack 3

i perform windows update and most of the files i updated but some files are
failed to install when i try to peform update again it says all updates are
done review your history in history some files are failed to update how can i
install this failed update files

When you review your history, have the failed updates installed at a later time?
