Analog Reproduction in WMP12

Hi guys, I wanted to select analog reproduction in the devices tab of
WMP12(my Plextor 40ts doesn't support digital reproduction) but the option
appear to be ghost.

In winxp with WMP11 I can select it without problems.

Any Idea?
My soundcard is a sounmax integrated in Asus p6td deluxe motherboard.

Is the analog wire connected from the drive to the motherboard? I think
that's what I'm thinking of...

Yes, the analog cable is connected to the drive, excwpt it has disconnected
itself.... I'll check it.
