Windows Live Mail (downloaded application) not opening anchors in embedded
URLS?

(Vista 64)

For example: the url: http://host.somedomain.com/page1.html#anchor1
truncates the anchor when opening from WLM, and just opens the page itself.

The link and anchor works fine when using the online Windows Live.

Doing a little testing I find that the anchor works if Reading in Plain
Text (Tools, Options, Read), but the anchor gets dropped if not reading
in plain text.

For me the anchor gets stripped even when the message is in plain text.
This has been a longstanding bug both with Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail.

Not the message in plain text, but having WLM set to READ all messages
in plain text keeps the anchor.
