Animated Display Picture?

Any ideas on how to use an animated GIF as a display picture that actually
then animates in WLMess/all clients?

Currently the only animated display pictures available are the for-purchase
ones; the ability to use GIFs is not available.

Though this feature has been requested for years; perhaps it will finally
come in a future version?

this feature is in the windows live messenger 9.
