For those desiring a professional environment without any nonsense or
disruptive trolls, visit the new Microsoft Forums:
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/...US/categories/

And who are you? Why should people go to the web forum instead of here?
Certainly it's another venue for free tech support, but you give the
impression that you're chasing people away and that they'll get no answers
here, which is certainly not the case.

Holy cow, are you ever overreacting! I simply made a suggestion and you
dived right in and ripped me to shreds. As an MS-MVP, you should be
utterly ashamed of yourself for your uncivilized/unprofessional behavior!

In case you haven't noticed, when a Vista user clicks on "Help and
Support" and looks under the topic "Ask Someone", the second sub-topic
reads:

"Get help from experts and other users online at Microsoft Answers".

Clicking on "Microsoft Answers" takes the user to the new Windows Vista
Forums. Therefore, Microsoft is directing users seeking assistance to
its new forums and not any "newsgroup". Sure, newsgroups are a useful
venue, but the forums seem to have a heck of a lot more Microsoft System
Engineers and MS-MVP presence than newsgroups do now.
