Hi Group:

Can someone tell me how to stop a baloon that pops up when I use firefox
browser. The baloon pops up and it reads the site that I was on about
5 or 6 pages ago. I do not want to go back to that site but no matter
what I try to do the baloon keeps popping up.

As an example; I go to gamesville.com and then leave that site and go
surfing for several minutes but everytime I move the mouse that annoying
baloon pops up and reads gamesville.com even though I have been to at
least four or five sites after that.

I can live with it but it is very annoying so can someone tell me how to
get rid of it?

Your question appears to not be related to Windows Vista, the newsgroup to
which you posted.

Is there a Firefox newsgroup you can post this question to? Also, what
exactly does the balloon say? Is there anything under Firefox's File |
Preferences that addresses allowing balloons to pop up? Inquiring minds want
to know...

Have you run virus/spyware/adware scans? You could be infected.

Thanks: That did the trick. I was not aware of that add-on but now I
have it installed and it works fine. Thanks again.
