The excretion from a horse's hind quarters that is Vista just froze again
with an endlessly spinning circle.
Vista does no more to isolate programs in their own space than XP and in
real world experience is actually worse because of inherent
incompatibilities with many common programs that are never going to be
specifically optimized for Vista.
It is not an answer to tell a user then go back to XP: I cannot buy XP off
the shelf any longer, thanks to Microsoft.
I am stuck with this sloppy, bloated piece of crudware that emerged with the
same level of quality control as the choice for the putative Republican vice
presidential candidate.

Plenty of XP versions here:

Puts paid to your stupid moronic rant, doesn't it?

Speaking of excretion from a horse's behind, you might want to contact
Ringmaster or Alias for help.

What's the specific hang or crash information:
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#bucket
?

Given several hundred thousand third party pieces of software, there will
likely be N * several hundred thousand bugs out there. Pinpointing the
various bugs out there that need to be fixed is kind of key to moving
forward. So - what specifically is crashing how here? The fault data would
be the first step to moving forward.
