Another DFS problem

I created a DFS share on \\server1.domain.local\

I then created root links on \\server2.domain.local\,
\\server3.domain.local\ and \\server4.domain.local\ for redundancy.

Server1 and Server2 are at one site and the other servers are at another site.

All servers have the same shares that the DFS links to. Each share on each
server is the same and due to the nature of how we update the contents of
those shares I am not using replication.

The problem is that it seems that Server1 and Server2 are correctly showing
the contents of the DFS share but Server3 and Server4 at the remote site are
not.

I can see the root links on 3 and 4, but the contents of those root links
are empty.

I tried using \\server3.domain.local\share at the remote site and nothing
comes up but an empty folder. However, when I do the same at the site I am
located at it shows the contents.

Why would the contents of the dfs links not show up at the remote site for a
user at the remote site?

I checked permissions and everything but cannot seem to get a grasp on whats
going on.

Thanks for any help.
