Another error 80242fff

Ok.The sp2 is downloaded in 99% or 100%, then it stops and display "it was
imposible to install the sp2". At the "instalation history" site I see the
80242fff error. I've tried "start->run : net.exe....", it doesn't work. The
automatic update is enabled and it doesn't try to install sp2 thouht it
installed other uploads. What else should I do?

I would suggest you look in the windowsupdate.log file for a more specific
error number

well, i've checked windowsupdate.log and found "error 0x8024000c", but
there's a lot of other misterious sentences, e.g. "WU client persisted 2
download calls". Wonder if that has something to do with my error?

I would suggest you run, if you have not done so, a virus,spyware,adware
scans and also a hard drive check for errors,clear download folders.
