For anyone having trouble setting wmp 64 as there default player afte
trying the regedit change and it not working for them, it never did fo
me. I found another way to default to the 64 version. It's alot les
graceful but it works and is easy to reverse

Go to program files x86 and change the name of the wmp folder in ther
to something else like wmp32 or what ever you want to

Next go to your other program files folder and copy the wmp folder i
there, then go back to program files x86 and paste the wmp folder yo
just made a copy of in there. Job done, it works for me just fine an
it's easy to change it back should you need to

But why do you want to use the x64 version so much? Do you have a reason?

What method did you use that failed? The method that should work is to use
the combined "SwapTo" switch and the Path registry value setting. If you
don't set the Path value it won't work right.
