another question on messenger

hey I have a question on firewall exceptions for wlm 2008. I was lookig on
the website for 2009 and saw a bunch of ports that needed to be opened for
communication in different areas. is this new for that messenger or is it
the same with 08 as well. I am currently running 08 and I would like to know
before I do an upgrade,

The network ports haven't changed between 2008 and 2009, so anything you have setup now
should continue working.
