Another SP2 80070005 Access Denied

Have:
- Logged on as Administrator.
- In Normal & Safe Mode
- Verified permissions for
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\C urrentVersion\WindowsUpdate�
- Verified permissions for “WUTemp folder�
- Ran chkdsk
- Read several Knowledge Base Articles
- Reviewed Svcpack.log file and insured permissions
- Attempted update from CD, Internet and Self Extracting File.

Any help is appreciated,

My comment, I do not care about the “most systems�, I am concerned about my
system, my money, my time. I am a customer, not a system

Don't get angry with the people who are trying to help
you. After all, most of us here are just like you,
customers not systems. We are not employed by Microsoft.
Have you read through the postings there are quite a few
on this error, have you undertaken a Google search etc.
Have you checked your firewall settings etc.
