As long as the computer is free of viruses, spyware and other malware as
well as operating properly, you should be OK installing SP-2 from the
current download.
Functionally that would be identical to the CD.
It is just a smaller download because only the necessary components for her
computer are actually downloaded.
SP-2 includes SP-1 as well as everything released since SP-1 up to the
release date of SP-2.
